56676 | I'm juuuuust old enough to get a "back in my day" once in a while.
Back in my day, they used to print a line or 2 for mileage and date on the oil filter box tab. You'd tear it off, fill in the info and stick it in the ashtray or glovebox to remind you when you changed it last. Haven't seen that in a long time.
Used to fill it out for my dad when I'd help him change oil as a kid. Also used to uncap the quart bottles for him and re-cap the empty ones. He usually bought Pennzoil by the case at Pamida. Nowadays, I write the mileage with a Sharpie in the corner of windshield, and buy oil in 5 qt jugs. | |
