There are a bunch of guys here running cattle in confinement almost regularly now. We are supposed to be getting 10 inches of rain a year but we are lucky to get any some years. They run on grass when they can. Bunk fed the rest of the year. I know we didn’t see grass for almost 2 solid years around 2012. Just wouldn’t rain.
