My father was a trustee for a cemetery and it was rough when somebody died suddenly and didn't have a burial plot,or any funeral decisions made.
If nothing else get a notebook that has all of this kind of decisions in writing.There were times when the wife and kids were definitely not on the same page,especially if it was the second marriage.
