Frost,Mn | I followed the previous threads without responding but I’m going to tell my story from June of ‘21. I was run off road by a kid drinking and completely hopped up on drugs. I laid in the hospital for 3 weeks and had my last hip surgery on August 27 that summer. I was able to cruise around the yard on a Jazzy scooter and could drive but only walk short distances with a walker. I had to give up the combine to another one of my guys which sucked but I was in the field watching making me feel involved. There is no shame in asking for help if you’re not able. I’m back at it being my new normal and would encourage anyone in a similar situation to take care of themselves so they can get back to what they love on a different day.
Trust me in saying we need to excuse people under extreme stress for the different emotions, at one point angry at the world and being aggressive out of character and the next time breaking down like a baby feeling completely helpless. I’ve been there! | |
