SW OH | We have 5 crushers with Scania engines in them plus 1 more that has been traded off already. They have been nothing less than awesome. Less trouble than similar CAT engines. Their torque curve goes up. The first 1 we had went through a lot of clutch issues and the dealer loaned us a matching crusher except with a C15. If you put a big piece of concrete in, it would pull down and kick the feeder out. Do the same in the Scania powered crusher and it would get a little louder and sounded like it revved up, but not kick the feeder out. If it fits in the box, it will eat it.
I've heard it said that Scania is the Caterpillar engine of Europe, but better.
