Wheelersburg and Lancaster, Ohio | Here I’ve had better luck selling first cutting grass hay to “homesteaders” feeding sheep and goats. Traditionally sheep and goat people wanted much better quality. Maybe these homesteaders can’t afford good hay? And a few horse people prefer cheaper stuff too. If someone wanted to pay extra for the better hay I’d sell it for a premium. I don’t want give away better feed value so that all gets fed to my cows. |
