I also dont see the 380/85R38 listed in the book. But the Group sizes are meant to group together tires of similar diameter, with a group 43 being centered around 63 inch OD. A group 44would be 66, and a group 42 would be 59. So while your new tire is slightly larger than the original, it is still very much in the middle of the group 43 range.

To the OP, MFWD tractors are set up that the front should turn slightly faster than the rear, it is prerun, so I wouldnt worry that you could feel that on the gravel. For the 1300 axle you have the book says you need a difference of 5 group sizes from rear to front. Your rear tire is a 48, so your new tire is within the guidelines.
