I had one come out about 20 years ago and clean up the last of scrap on mine and my Dad's places. We did not have that much, maybe 10-15 tons total and that included a several 1000 and 1500 bushel steel bins which are bulky but don't weigh that much. He cut it, loaded it and hauled it about 40 miles back to his yard. We told him he could have it for the work, we just wanted it gone. When he got done he said, " I'll see what I get out of it, I might be able to give you something." I did not expect to get anything but several months later he pulled in the yard and gave me a few hundred dollars for each of us. I guess we found an honest one.
