Well, not really a huge fire, but the smoke did enough damage. We lost our offices, showroom, and all of our parts that were not big enough to be in our warehouse area. About a $1.5 million loss of parts inventory. If it was just a fire it would be a kick in the head, but for it to be arson, and knowing someone did this to you, makes it a bit worse.
However, we were up and going in less than a week with full capability to do business, and had parts back in stock in our makeshift offices in about 6 weeks. Thank you to a whole lot of people that made you remember that people make the difference!
The building crews should be here in the coming week to start tearing the old building down, start preparing the foundations for the addition we will be adding, and prepping for the new building's arrival in mid June (we hope). Hope to be back in by end of the year...we were really hoping before fall, but with the permits and red tape we had to get through things just got pushed back. It will all come out in the wash.
