Amherst WI | I'm convinced there is a "right size" for any operation. That size is different for everyone, but when you start to break down what you are doing during the day, acres you farm, cows you milk, crops you grow, ect, there are good and bad.
I read a while ago that farmers might make have say 1000 acres for example, 200 they lose money on, 300 they break even and 500 they make profit on. Getting bigger just because without paying attention to how and when it is getting done is poor business, but more often than not that seems how it goes. | |
