Glad to see you were brave enough to touch the SS issue on here.
I’m eligible, just not taking it yet. Never really thought it would be here when I got to this age anyway.
I saw people 40 years ago receiving SS that O know didn’t need it. Some people do. Some just have bad luck with health and etc. They need to be taken care of with a minimum standard of living. Those that achieved success and have to means to support themselves after retirement should not be receiving SS.
If we had that system set up that was we would all pay less SSTax while we’re working. If you think we have slackers now, just implement your ideas and see how many slackers we'd have then. |
