Sioux County, NWIA

1st thing that needs to happen is people need to demand it get fixed, and be willing to pay the price to fix it.

spending needs to be cut 5% and Taxes increased 2.5%

Social security needs to be Means tested it was called Social Security Insurance when it started, originally nobody dreamed that if you were fortunate enough to be wealthy enough to have a fully funded retirement you would ever draw a penny of SSI. Now you have people who put their whole life's net worth into a trust in their kids and grand kids name to keep the nursing home from getting their property and hand the bill to the county, the age for receiving SS must be raised a bit but it needs to be career balanced -- IE the person who is a steel worker or welder has a body that is beat up at a younger age than the person who is a banker or accountant, SSI should recognize these facts of life.

The wealthiest among us need to stop thinking they have entitlements, they don't.

politically redistricting and term limits on the politicians would go a long way to giving the political will to do these things.

I’ll just make sure i’m not wealthy. Problem solved.
