| Why should the pay in be means tested but the payout not be means tested, if the cap is done away with then I will not have as much a problem with the ultra wealthy collecting.
So elan musk pays 12.4 % on his 57 million per year of income over the next 10 years roughly 75 million in payments to SSI and he can take his max monthly payment of 3000 per month at age 67 for 15 years or about 450k.
