North west MN | Have a air conditioner/heat pump with the old feon need to have them add a little every year and they say the old freon is hard to get and very expensive. They said we should upgrade to a new cold weather heat pump/ air conditioner. The current system we never use the heat pump part as it never worked very good and didn't work at all when it got real cold in Northern mn the furnace has electric elements and they heat good. I guess the question is are the new cold weather heat pumps worth putting in when you need a new air conditioner unit? And do they work good in cold weather? | |
