39.48, -82.98 | No, not 2012. We had plenty of rain in May. But very little since then. We're way below for June and just went through a very hot week with only a sprinkle. It's a bad omen for us, on our lighter soils, when 80% rain chances evaporate and 100% chances give us barely measurable amounts. That sets us up for a heat dome that kills every rain headed our way. Really need a weekly rain to prevent that.
So far, the crops are holding on. | |
