I thought you guys measured in centimeters or millimeters or something like that up there...eh?
I prefer the imperial system myself and I know most of you guys down South don't speak metric so I try to avoid it. My fancy new high tech gauge came calibrated in metric so it was actually 41.5 mm. When I report it in milimetres on the CoCoRaHS - Community Collaborative Rain, Hail & Snow Network site they automatically convert it to inches.
