Born at home in 1937, bill was $10.00 and my folks didn't have it. My Dad went to California, got a job, wired money to my Mother and we went out on the train. She sent the Dr. the money and he sent a receipt back. We came back to Kansas in 1939 and farmed. Still have the farm, I am retired.
