Subject: RE: Using keys to the rest room

East of Broken Bow
My wife works at a convenience store.

Requiring a key is to keep the riff-raff out. When the people cleaning the restrooms find drug paraphernalia in the restroom, it becomes a much less family friendly place.
Simply by making people request a key put an end to it, those people now go somewhere else.

I would also add it prevents anyone from 'walking in' on someone else. Might not seem like a big deal to some, but my daughter was scared to death when a guy 'accidentally' tried to walk in on her in a restroom one time. After hearing about that, I now escort my kids to the bathroom, and wait nearby until they come out. Sad that it has come to this, but in many places it has more or less become necessary.
