The AL system should get power directly from the battery, the only way it wouldn't is A) the sprayer originally had a Raven system (440, 440, etc) and you're using a Raven adapter for the L2 system. Guessing that's not the case since you have an implement cable. Or B) you have some custom wiring for powering the AL system. However even then if it doesn't tie into that power strip, idk how it could be related. Guessing it could be a coincidence that the switch melted, or you have an issue with the wiring for your pump that just manifested itself at the same time.

Let me put it this way, as long as you're not powering the AL system through that power bar in any way, I'm 99.99999% sure it's unrelated.
