Our doctor said that he runs into patients that say they're old enough that they will just let the prostate cancer take it's course rather than undergoing the procedures to treat it. It's a tough situation, early diagnosis and treatment work the best -- doing nothing generally leads to a lower quality of life at the end of their life.
