| It depends on what side of 70 your on. If I was 78 or 79 I probably wouldnt treat it if diagnosed. there are a lot of guys 70-75 that get diagnosed G8 or G9, get treated and live another 10 years, My father was one of those, diagnosed and treated at 73 with Gleason 8. hes now 84 and doing fine. Would that be the case if he chose to do nothing back then?
The resaon you dont hear much about guys dying from prostate cancer, is because thats where it starts, then spreads and becomes another form of cancer, and thats what kills them. Most often it goes in to Bone Cancer, and I understand thats a painfull way to die | |
