Subject: Variable Rate on a John Deere 787 Air Cart

So I got lucky in a recent auction purchase. I got two hydraulic drives off of a John Deere 1770. I have the motor, flow control valve, and the black puck looking thing which I assume is some sort of RPM/Shaft position sensor. My question is this. How can I use this on an air cart with an AgLeader Integra as the controller? Do I connect this assembly directly to the meter roller or do I still have to use the ratcheting drive that these 787 carts had? What do I put between this assembly and the Integra?
