I think I would allow 6-8 months at this point to get your exemptions. As an XAG dealer, I spend a substantial amount of time helping customers understand what they need and how to get there. We provide all the drone registration paperwork required and guide customers step by step through the process. We also provide introduction to an attorney who specializes in FAA law. It’s really not as complicated as it sounds, but is time consuming.
