Ran a 3 row head on a Deere 3970. Originally pulled it with a Deere 4455 and later with a Deere 4760. 4760 is rated at 175 hp. 4455 was at 150 hp. It got the job done, but slow moving in good corn.
Put your biggest tractor on it and run. If you can't go slow enough, then leave the 3 row head on but just take 2 rows at a time.
