Southeast Colorado | Back in the day (almost 30 years ago) we used to buy quite a few stocker calves. The most money I ever made was on a couple of loads of Hereford heifers. The market was friendly............and they sold as replacements. We had zero death loss to boot.
To this day.............my wife still thinks they're ugly...........but if we ever see any Herefords in a field, I always mention to her how pretty those things are. We still get a good laugh out of it! | |
