| What would be the minimum water requirements to run a small, say 40 acres, center pivot? Recently had a well drilled, and the driller says it will flow at least 200gpm. This got me wondering if that's enough to irrigate with. Simple math says that 200gpm would put 1" of water on 36 acres in 4 days, but maybe I'm oversimplifying things. There are just no center pivot around here, so I know next to nothing about the insurance and outs of them. Figured someone here could help me out. | |
