| 200 is good. On that size pivot a 140 package will be even, a 120 package will over water the inside tower.
I have a 4 tower nozzled at 100 at 15 psi. On a good year It over waters half the first tower. I have shutoffs on them so I can close every other nozzle when it gets too wet.
In wheat I just double sew and fertilize that area and cut really good wheat there. Cotton I slow down and pix the devil out of it so it doesn’t get 6’ tall.
When you get low, you better have zero leaks and start the water 2 weeks before you need to and just leave it on. Very important to have a package small enough to keep it pressured up. I don’t run regulators just run as much as 25 psi when I can and get down to 12-15 by the end of season. | |
