Subject: RE: Liquid AMS rate with Liberty

SW Illinois
We use a true liquid AMS. If I remember correctly, the analysis is 8-0-0-9S and it’s 10#/gallon. The rate is 4.5 gallons/100 and that’s the same as 17#/100 of dry AMS. For 20 GPA, it comes out to 115.2 oz/acre. It’s more expensive than dry AMS, but for our setup it’s much faster and that’s worth something. It’s also much easier on the sprayer pump housing than when we used to dump bags in the sprayer’s inductor. I used to wear out a pump housing every 1.5 years. Since switching to liquid, I easily get 2-3 times as much life out of the pump.
