Hi Paul,

We planted the hill corn with this jab planter:

This cheap tool does a surprisingly good job of singulating corn sized seeds and can be set to drop 1, 2 or 3 seeds at a time.

In addition, it does a good job of placing seed into moisture at a consistent and adjustable depth.

We have lots of new things going on @ the farm this summer... maybe too many :( :)

PS I will probably manually harvest some of the Indian beans that we are intercropping with heirloom corn but this is my first time growing these legume species so I am not sure how much of a crop they will produce. 2 of the Indian beans (moth beans and matpe beans) recently started blooming. They both have bright yellow flowers.
