As long as your nozzle isn't turning into a garden hose, or there is dillution issues with the chem, water volume is the equalizer to improve consistency of an application.

So, more water is better. With an AIXR, it is on the coarser side for sure, so extra water would be helpful. Usually I'd be seeing fungicides applied at more in the realm of 15-20GPA.
Given the AIXR is definitely on the coarser side of things if that was what you were using, I definitely wouldn't be applying at the bare minimum.

Again, it'll keep drift down for sure, and if you are spraying at a higher pressure it'd be good coverage, but depending on what sort of canopy you are spraying into, we'd want to reach for a bit more coverage, if that means using a smaller/finer nozzle or higher water volume to bump up chances for coverage.
