What kind of sprayer do you have? Do you have any agitation?
With even minimal agitation, dry AMS should be completely dissolved long before it gets to your boom.
The only AMS related plugging problems we've ever encountered was 35-40 years ago with an old junky sprayer with a roller pump that didn't have much agitation at all.
The other possibility is that you got bad AMS. Its not all the same quality.
