I agree it could be. To the OP pull one and if it's red on the stem right at ground level it's probably Red Crown Rot. If it's not, then it's probably SDS.
EDIT: More I look at the pic I'd say it's SDS. Last year we had Red Crown Rot for the first time. The symptoms are very close on the vegetation but at least on us the dying plants are more random than that. SDS will be more of all the plants in a curtain area like your pic.
