GPCW - 7/24/2024 20:00 Has anyone tried daikon radishes on dry land eastern Colorado? Soil is super compacted and needs subsoiled. TIA

I am glad you posted this.  I have the same problems with compaction, and don't necessarily want to rip if avoidable.  Has anyone ever added radish seed into winter wheat at planting?  I don't know that this desert has enough fall moisture to make it work, so I hope someone has tried it in similar conditions.  We planted a cover crop mix with radishes in the spring once, and are still seeing the benefits- just no experience in the fall.
