The 220 V charger can charge up to 10 KW if you have it on a 50 Amp breaker. I have a 30 Amp breaker in my garage that I usually set charge rate @ 4 Kwh. That gets me charged up overnight. The DC Tesla Fast chargers will charge up to 250 Kwh or 150 Kwh on the older ones. Figure 20 minutes for 150 Miles of range using either of those.
So a refueling time equation might be the time it takes to pump 10 gallons of gas into a pickup, vs the 20 minutes to recharge a Tesla and then ready to drive another 150 miles.
