Like said if it's heating the germ won't be good. I switch seed form combine to gravity box or grain cart then in a day or 2 switch to another cart or truck. Never had an issue doing that if the grain was cut dry. The only bad seed I ever got was bought from a guy who put it in a bin and must not have aeriated it.
