8-10 ton dry biomass per acre from the rye? Wow that's a lot. Almost an average to above average yield of corn silage up here in East Central Wisconsin.

For no-till soybeans in crimped rye given the common availability of RTK guidance, would it be possible that a crimper design may place more of the biomass over the planted soybean row for a heavier mulch and follow back with some minimally evasive weed control between the row from lower cover? (Mower, between row crimper in crop, flamer, etc)
