Subject: Pole barns, machine storage, cheaper options, and snow loads.



20 Miles West of Indianapolis Indiana		I saw this add on Facebook marketplace. It’s a 40x60x14 base building with 2 20’ lean too’s on each side and then open sides.

I could make something like this work if it was a 40x80x16 with the 20’ lean-to’s. Skin 3 sides and have an open gable end.

Looks like post and metal trusses on 12’ spacing. We do 8’ around here.

If I could get a quote on a 8’ spacing building, what else do you need to ask and really in down by the builder/engineer on something like this? Or is this a tinker toy?
