You may also want to look at trust share for the heir. That type of trust has its own gov ID number. If there would ever be problem with lawsuit, wife, etc and as long as heir leaves some funds in the trust share, the funds in the trust share are safe. If heir takes funds out of share fund acct and puts in heir own checking account then the funds are free game. | |
