We don't have any obnoxious cops here. Well, had one some years ago, but was fired within a couple weeks.

No Police union, either.


Was stopped once for no reason. Asked for license and registration. I asked what I did wrong as I was sure I had no violations, and all the lights were working. He just told me to move along and drive carefully.

Later I found out that there was someone in the area with an arrest warrant out, driving a vehicle that was very similar to mine. I assume that they were just double checking to be sure I wasn't them.
A friend of mine is Chief of Police in a town and said you should always be polite to the cops when the pull you over, particularly in a bigger town or strange town, and not to get too worked up if they stop you for no reason. For all you know, there could be an APB out for a serial killer driving a car that looks just like yours.


Yep been there , quick tip don’t buy a pickup from people that have been in trouble with the law . They still did not treat me bad .
