Land grant trials can be expensive to enter as well.
Also for whatever reason I have seen complete opposite of real life results in University testing. You weigh a hybrid that’s in the top three of twenty plots throughout the course of a season and it does towards the bottom end in a University test?
Also “here” by the time the corn trials are released from UW 85% of the seed is sold.
