Subject: Do partial tears in ligaments and tendons every full heal?

I tore a bunch of stuff in my right arm 3 years ago. The stuff that controls your fingers.
That seems to have healed up, last fall it flared up in a different area I thought from over use. My grip is great, but certain motions cause pain in there. I do some weight lifting and doing stuff like curls it hurts in my forearm. I mentioned it to the dr and they kinda just laughed when I said it has to be over 50# in that hand to bother me. I took it easy on it a long time, but I’ve started back up going about full bore with it. It works fine, just some pain. It doesn’t hurt very often working, but if it throw the football with the kids a lot it does hurt in that throwing motion especially if they want long bombs. I think the weights have helped, if I’m curling a 50# dumbbell I can get 10 reps now before it hurts and at first it was hurting instantly.

Anyone have any ideas for some PT type stuff I can do for it? It’s been a year now and I’m tired of it. It’s something on the top side of the forearm between the bones and closer to the elbow.
