Never used Venmo, but I had a close call with Zelle.
Zelle is just like sending cash in the mail to the prince from Africa.
If the people on the other end are honest, you are fine, but if not you are on your own.
Apparently Zelle is backed by a few large banks, but there is no way to go after people if there
is a problem.
