Southern High Plains | Since Bob's dad has a partner who is not a family member, Bob should in no way get involved in that farm. If I were Bob, I would say, rent me the acres you can't manage to farm without extra help. They have too many acres and Bob needs more...problem solved. Eventually his dad's ground would go to him anyway, lots of unknowns here. Bottom line, rent to Bob or walk away. Bob will only be chasing his tail and not making very much money if he custom farms.
