When my son was going to college in La Crosse WI, someone from New York took over $1,200 one night out of his checking account that was connected to Venmo. Venmo was zero help. You will never get to talk to a real person. My local bank wasn't too sure that we would ever see any resolution. I told them our family would be moving 5 checking accounts otherwise. After 6 weeks the bank did replace the funds. I made everyone in our family to delete Venmo from any account or device. Good Luck | |
