Lots of people in charge during Covid spent all their social capital.
Local school district tried to not let kids come to school for 10 days after getting on a plane. Said it was because they went out of state. After it was brought up that the superintendent lived out of state and commuted every day, there was a change of heart.
The secretary would badger you when calling your kids out of school, had to know why, wouldn’t let the kids back for a week if they were sick.
I went off, told her it was none of her business. Took a few times but she got the point. | |
