| Jayce is correct that Bayer and Corteva will absolutely continue raising prices $10-15 per year even with low commodity price. If/when there's a price recovery the seed price increase will be $25-40.
Yield data is an odd beast. Spend a pile of money on internal and folks still poo poo it. Could spend a fortune on FIRST trials but they are very often garbage plots. FIRST trial operators often do other fee based testing that is substandard and thrown out by seed companies but the FIRST trial at the same location is still published. Third party testing is often no good. Jayce probably knows this but I understand the hesitance to call it out.
I'd also point out that 85% of the nasty roasting is by competing seed reps who do not have any ability to be price competitive with independent options.
