| Well at least I will only be perceived as the 2nd most unhinged poster on market talk in the last week.
I Really don't pay a lot of attention to bonds because they are a terrible long term investment that has had a negative real return for decades. However correlation doesn't equal causation.
Honestly drawing lines on charts and getting angry doesn't really help people make good decisions. Grains are extremely hard to predict. Think about it. Who can forecast the global weather? Know when a war, tariff or embargo will start(and the details of the embargoes tariffs)? Its really a crapshoot and all about risk management from a farmers perspective. Making sure they get a price they can afford to take. Obsessing over it every day will drive someone crazy.
Comparing the grain market to other markets
The cattle market is somewhat less hard to make sense of because the reproduction cycle of a cow is so slow.
The stock market is complicated but if you focus on something you understand very well and account for global liquidity and inflation someone can do well with a long term view.
