They determined after a fuel sample was sent in that it was do to old ethanol sludge that got into the fuel system my understanding of how it was explained to me is ethanol can go bad like gas over time but the gunk from it can build up in tanks trucks anywhere where it is stored or transported
They likely determined that before the sent in a sample. But even if that was somehow true the most damage it would have caused was a plugged fuel filter. I'm trying to figure out how ethanol could possibly cause $4500 damage. There's got to be more to the story.
