| Yal, you can do it through a process.. but that doesn’t mean you should.. which is cheaper alkylation or ethanol?
Generally, ethanol is considered cheaper than alkylation when used to increase octane in gasoline, as ethanol is typically priced lower than other octane boosters like alkylate, making it a more cost-effective option for fuel blending. Ethanol is often readily available and relatively inexpensive compared to alkylate, which is a more complex refining process. Both ethanol and alkylate significantly raise octane levels, but ethanol can be particularly effective when blended with gasoline.

Ethanol is cleaner, cheaper and doesn’t give you cancer. It’s a superior solution.
