Your baseline comparison isn’t the same. Your comparison should be 1/3 of a load of DDG’s + 2.8 gal of ethanol vs a load of corn.
Edit: Yes no one is going to eat either directly. So it’s the food value afterwards that is important. But a load of distillers and a load of corn are not equivalent when it comes to land needed for the production of those products.
Our end users mind set is subtlety swayed.
